Looking for something a little different for those cruizes around the river on a Sunday morning? Maybe you're looking for something to commute to work on. Looking for something a little different, a bike that is both beautiful and functional?
This week we received a 54cm Cinelli Gazzetta Della Strada, the geared version of Cinelli's classic steel track bike / single speed the Gazzetta.
At $1799 the Gazzetta Della Strada is no high end race weapon. Steel frames have been out of vogue in the race scene for longer than many of this blog's readers have been alive. Steel now is the domain of the diserning cyclist looking for ride quality without the price tag of a carbon fibre frameset. Cinelli use a custom drawn Columbus Cro-Mo tubeset to create a beutiful frame without sacrificing too much on weight. The frame will also accomodate most rack and fender combinations for the commuters and all-weather cyclists out there.
The Shimano Tiarga 9 speed drivetrain is workman-like and offers years of faithful service, again without breaking the bank. Quality Shimano hubs laced to classic black double-wall rims with black spokes will keep the rider rolling smoothly. A colour-matched Cinelli stem and traditional bend handlebars offer a comfortable all-day ride (rather than an aggressive, zippy one that will leave your back begging for mercy).
These bikes are in very limited supply and other sizes may well be out of stock. However if you are interested in finding out more about the Cinelli Gazzetta Della Strada or any of the other 2013 bikes available, please give us a call on (08) 9375 1340 or drop into the shop for a chat.
